B.Com UNSW, CA, FCIS, FAICD, FGIA

Tony has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, and is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and the Governance Institute of Australia. He has also completed post graduate studies in Marketing at the University of Technology, Sydney. He was a past Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute. Tony holds numerous non-executive directorships with a number of ASX and NZX listed companies. He is currently the non-executive chairman of Bioxyne Limited (ASX:BXN), Greenland Minerals Limited (ASX:GGG), and Cannasouth Limited (NZX:CBD). Tony was executive director of Arthur Yates & Co Limited, retiring from that position in April 2002. He was previously a director of Yates New Zealand Limited. Prior to joining commerce, Tony was a partner of Cox Johnston & Co, Chartered Accountants, which has since merged with Ernst & Young.

Chris Horn has been involved with TruScreen for a number of years. He is an experienced business executive and has acted in a number of management roles including 20 years as a senior partner of KPMG and its predecessor firms. He is a director of a number of private companies across a broad range of business activities including corporate advisory, financial services, and funds management. Chris is a Commerce graduate from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. Chris is also the Chair of TruScreen’s Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.

B Tech (Hons), M. Eng, PhD

Dr. Dexter Cheung is an experienced medical device engineer and specialist in product research and development. He is the Research and Development Manager of the respiratory humidification division of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, an ASX/NZX listed healthcare company. With over 20 Years of experience, Dr. Cheung brings a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and has worked with suppliers and manufacturers across the glove. Dr. Cheung’s technical background is in opto-electronics and expertise in medical device engineering is highly relevant to TruScreen, who’s cervical cancer screening device harnesses opto-electronic signatures for screening results.

An experienced non-executive director has held numerous roles as Chair, Chair of Audit & Risk Committee, Chair of Remuneration & Nomination Committee, Non-Executive Independent Director across a range of public and private companies and industries in New Zealand.  In addition she has spent 12 years in CFO roles in  the IT sector. Her Current directorships include Independent Non-Executive Director McKay Limited, Independent Board Chair Franklin Veterinary Services (1977) Limited, Board Chair and President of YMCA North inc and a member of the National Council of YMCA New Zealand.

Medical Advisory Committee - Chairman

Professor Michael Campion graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1977. In 1983 -1984, he undertook further Fellowship training in London and completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology. He was the Scientific Program Director of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology from 1985 till 1987. In 1986, he received the Victor Bonney Award from the London Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society for his pivotal research into the role of human papillomaviruses in the causation of cervical cancer.

In 1987-1996, Michael took up key research, clinical and academic positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Centres for Disease Control and Macon School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. He established cancer screening projects in developing and underprivileged communities, including Innuit women in Alaska and women in rural Georgia, USA. He was appointed the Scientific Program Director of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) from 1991 to 1997. In 1997, he returned to Australia to take up the Directorship of the Preinvasive Unit, Gynaecological Cancer Centre, Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick where he continues in this role. A/Prof Campion received number of awards for clinical research including the ASCCP Meritorious Service Award in 1994 and the ASCCP Meritorious Award for Scientific Achievement in 1996. In 2006, he was awarded a Chief of Army Commendation for his service in saving lives in Bougainville, East Timor and Banda Aceh.

As a Colonel in the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps, Michael Campion is currently the Director, Health Services Army Reserve NSW/ACT, the Army representative on the Regional Health Advisory Group and the Senior Health Advisor (Army) to Joint Health Command. In 2010, A/Prof Campion received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Warrane College, University of New South Wales for his gynecological service to the indigenous and non-indigenous population of rural and remote New South Wales. He has published over sixty academic papers, articles, book and book chapters and presented at numerous scientific congresses.

Medical Advisory Committee and International Experts Group

Professor Neville Hacker AM did his initial training in Brisbane. In 1978, he moved to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to train in Gynaecological Oncology. He rose to become the Director of Gynaecological Oncology at UCLA in 1984, before returning to Australia to establish Australia’s first multidisciplinary Gynaecological Cancer Centre at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney in late 1986. He is a Past President of the International Gynecological Cancer Society, a Past President of the Society of Pelvic Surgeons, and a past member of the Cancer Committee of FIGO. He has written over 250 peer reviewed scientific papers, and is co-editor of Berek and Hacker’s Gynecologic Oncology, now in its 7th edition.
